Malta is a nation of Maltese people with a rich heritage. The are 2 inhabited islands, Malta and Gozo, and one tiny one with a hotel and some holiday accommodation called Comino. The Maltese Islands are situated in the Mediterranean Sea, south of Sicily (which is south of Italy) and north of Libya.
Sometimes I think of Malta as a little stone with a big purpose, a bit like the stone David slung at Goliath. The apostle Paul was shipwrecked on this little rock on his journey to Rome. That was no accident. You can read about it in Acts 28.
